A Bright Spot

Our BlogTourLA trip was chock full of bright spots thanks to organizer extraordinaire Veronika Miller of Modenus, but one of our favorite stops on the tour was Lamps Plus. We had the best time choosing from their vast showroom inventory to create and style our own little vignettes there... CONCEPT No. 1

BlogTourLA: A Bright Spot | CLOTH & KIND

Which one is your favorite? We're gaga over Concept No. 2 with the Ceramic Teal Mid-Century Lamp and the Teal and Tan Ceramic Gourd Lamp. They're even more amazing in person and are truly a bit of luxury at veritable bargain prices....You don't often hear us say that! To boot, the Lamps Plus staff could not have been more gracious hosts of our BlogTourLA crew, especially given that we practically left the Lamps Plus showroom in shambles after our baptism by fire styling approach, stealing from each others vignettes to create our own!

You've got to check out the other BlogTourLA crew's concepts as well. Lynn over at DecorArtsNow did a great recap on how everyone spent their time putting together vignettes in the store, and we love the post by Will of Bright Bazaar, pulling together his characteristic color happy concepts using the Lamps Plus Color + Collection. We had such a blast and it was creatively energizing to see how each of us put together dramatically different concepts, so much so that it was something akin to herding cats to get us outta there en route to our next BlogTourLA stop.

We also wanted to extend a really warm thank you to the Lamps Plus team for including CLOTH & KIND in their Best Home Blog Awards (hint, hint - go vote for us, please! You can vote once every 24 hours until Friday, November 15). By casting your vote, you have the chance to win a $500 Lamps Plus shopping spree. Regardless of the outcome, we are seriously honored to be keeping the excellent company of fellow interior design bloggers like Quintessence, La Dolce Vita, Habitually Chic and fellow BlogTourLA alum & sweetheart, Stagetecture.
