HOW TO WORK WITH US

 

THE SCOOP

TO-THE-TRADE
If you are a licensed interior designer, architect or builder, we invite you to register for a trade account with CLOTH & KIND in order to receive net pricing. Please complete the steps below to get started.

PUBLIC
Members of the public are welcome to shop the showroom, and will receive standard retail pricing. We welcome you to visit us in person or online to shop at any time. You do not need to complete the steps below, which are only for licensed members of the trade.

 

Step no. 1

Please make sure you are registered and have an approved trade account with us by completing the Trade Application.

New accounts generally take 1-2 business days to process and you'll receive an e-mail from us when your company has been approved.

In the meantime, please peruse our Showroom pages for inspiration.

 

STEP NO. 2

Once your company has an approved trade account, we welcome you to visit us in person. Appointments are highly encouraged and can be made by calling or emailing the showroom. Please also feel free to request memos, samples, pricing, and to schedule a full represented line presentation at your office, etc.

STEP NO. 3

Consider us a passionate and knowledgable resource in your design toolbox.

In addition to the represented lines in our Showroom, for which we are considered core Michigan Showroom partners, we also have accounts with a substantial number of other highly desirable to-the-trade lines and are happy to provide approved trade members with designer net pricing for all that we have access to.

We are thrilled to help you in any way we can, including:

Pulling textile and wallcovering options to fit your creative vision
Assisting in sourcing furnishings, floor coverings, lighting, hardware, art and accessories options
Sourcing any of the above based on specific budget parameters
Procuring bespoke furnishings

If you know exactly what you need, simply give us a call or shoot over an e-mail. We'll get the memos, samples and pricing out to you as quickly as possible so that you have everything you need for a killer client presentation.

 

STEP NO. 4

Ready to order?

E-mail your P.O. to showroom@clothandkind.com. We'll get an Invoice back to you within 1-2 business days, tops.

CLOTH & KIND accepts payment via all major credit cards or business check. Payment directly from your client is not accepted.

As is standard in our industry, totally final shipping and handling charges will most likely not be provided at the time of initial invoice, as they vary greatly depending on the manufacturer. We will invoice you for all related charges as soon as we receive them. For planning purposes, please notify your clients that S&H of 10-15% on average will be added to their items.
