This lovely color palette, which I would use in a little girls room in a heartbeat, is inspired by Designer Guild‘s exotic Madame Butterfly fabric from their new Kimono Blossoms collection . The design, which is printed on pure linen, was sensitively reproduced from original calligraphy and watercolor artwork.
It’s beautiful and how pretty would that be in a little girl’s room. I love using some blue in rooms for girls. I’m going to be in big trouble when it’s time to do my daughter’s next room – just way too many pretty color combos and fabrics to incorporate.
I agree, Holly – I had way too much fun decorating my daughter’s room and I also used some blues in there. I’m not a big fan of the all-too-predictable pink girls room!
